Lisa West has 12 years of photography experience and studied at Pittsburgh Filmmakers, in Pittsburgh, PA, where she was awarded with a certificate in fine art photography.
Lisa has photographed thousands of pets throughout the years and officially started her photography business in 2006. Since then, Lisa has expanded her business and added wedding photography to her list of services. Her photography has been published in a variety of books and magazines from Photographer's Forum Best of Photography to Kittens USA.
Choosing to photograph families and animals in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, Lisa captures artistic, expressive and soulful images that are completely timeless. Lisa works closely with each of her clients and prefers to photograph her subjects in their own home, a park, or another special location. Combining creative, fine art and traditional photography styles, Lisa captures treasured moments and her subjects true personalities.
Being a passionate animal advocate, Lisa frequently donates her photography services to help various animal shelters. In 2011, Lisa donated photography sessions to the Western PA Humane Society to help with the Best Friends' Calendar 2012.
Lisa also donates photography gift certificates to help fight cancer and other diseases. Being a cancer survivor herself, Lisa genuinely understands the importance in finding a cure and is also dedicated to bring more awareness to celiac disease.
